Celebrating our first year, we’re gearing up for our second busy summer season and looking for energetic and customer-focused individuals to join our front-of-house team. Qualifications:
Previous experience in a front-of-house role (server, host, busser, bartender) is preferred, but we are happy to train passionate individuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
Flexible weekend and/or weekday morning availability.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a high-volume environment.
Proficiency in basic English is required for communication.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences.
Responsibilities (Varies by Role):
Servers:
o Communicate menu items, specials, and promotions to guests with enthusiasm and accuracy.
o Take orders and relay them to the kitchen, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are met.
o Manage multiple tables and prioritize tasks to ensure a smooth dining experience.
o Provide timely, friendly service, and resolve guest concerns with professionalism.
o Handle cash transactions and payments accurately.
Hosts/Hostesses:
o Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome and efficiently manage the seating chart.
o Provide detailed information about the menu and daily specials.
o Ensure a smooth flow of guest seating during peak times.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Support Staff (Food Runners/Bussers):
o Assist in delivering food to tables and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
o Clear dishes, maintain a clean dining area, and refill guest water glasses.
o Support the team by collaborating with servers and kitchen staff.
o Adapt to changing priorities and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Bartenders:
o Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
o Engage with guests, providing detailed information about the drink menu and any specials.
o Efficiently manage the bar area, including stocking and organizing supplies.
o Check identification to verify legal drinking age and monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
o Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
o Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
